Our treatment team is made up of a doctor who specializes in psychiatry as well as nurses, social workers, psychiatric therapists and a case manager, all of whom have educational backgrounds and experience in caring for those with behavioral health needs. Other treatment team members may include dieticians, pharmacists and chaplains from pastoral care.
 Each Staff Member's Role in Providing Care
Psychiatrists supervise and lead a multidisciplinary treatment team in the assessment and care of patients. Medication tailored to treat an illness is ordered as indicated.
Staff Nurses participate in developing and implementing treatment plans, provide psychotherapeutic interventions in individual and group therapy, manage environment issues and medication instructions. Nurses plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients from admission to discharge. They set reasonable goals for hospitalization and clarify the treatment plan.
Social Workers provide individual, marital and couples counseling services and perform discharge planning.
Psychiatric Therapists provide group and individual activities focusing on independent living skills.
Psychiatric Technicians work under the supervision of a registered nurse and provide care to help with activities of daily living and assist with managing the environment.
