A series of six-two hour classes prepare the expectant mother and partner for giving birth. The classes focus on phases of labor and recovery; relaxation and labor techniques; nutrition and exercise; infant care, Cesarean birth and available labor medications are discussed.
The series will also include breastfeeding. Loose-fitting slacks or shorts are recommended. The childbirth classes are instructed using the philosophy of the International Childbirth Education Association. Classes are open to the public no matter where you deliver. This is subject to change. Please call for reservations.
